I grew up in the Italian Alps where the power of the glaciers, the forests and their wildlife and the stunning alpine flora were part of everyday life. I come from a family of many generations of blacksmiths and watching my grandad hot shoeing a horse is one of my earliest memories. Since that tender age all I wanted was to be a vet and my dream was fulfilled later in life when I graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from the University of Parma. I immediately started work full time as a Vet and still love it after many years.

My interest in complementary medicine started in my teens after meeting Aldo Poletti a homeopath, naturalist, lecturer of botanics and author of several books. He encouraged me to attend a 3 years course for vets, chemists and doctors at the Homeopathic School of Verona.
